Platinum Arena Overview
Platinum Arena is a serviced apartment project launched in Old Klang Road, Kuala Lumpur. This project is undertaken by one of the most sought-after developers in the city, Marques Land Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of the Platinum Victory Group. Given its strategic location to various highways and convenience, Platinum Arena has become one of the sought after projects in Old Klang Road. The area is largely known as a food junction that includes fast-food chains, Japanese eateries, and Korean restaurants. Given Old Klang Road’s established development, project pricing tends to be on the higher side although the pricing is not quite as expensive as projects in KL City.

Small families can invest their money in buying Type A units with 2 bedrooms, while those with larger families can choose Type B/B1, Type C, Type C1 or Type D/D1 with 3 or 4 bedrooms.
Competitor Analysis
Platinum Arena sits on 2.9 acres of land along the OKR. Due to the involvement of multiple developers along Old Klang Road, the development on both sides of the Old Klang Road is haphazard in nature. In terms of land tenure, Platinum Arena offers a standard leasehold compared to its other counterparts such as CitiZen 2, Avara Seputeh, and Millerz Square. However, Platinum Arena’s leasehold tenure allows for buyers to purchase a unit at about half the price of the freehold projects.
Looking at the starting built-up size, Platinum Arena is slightly smaller than the other projects. However, its biggest unit at 1008 sq ft is the second largest after Tria at 9 Seputeh’s 4489 sq ft unit. Given the variety in sizes, Platinum Arena can capture a wider market from potential investors to medium-sized families. In terms of price PSF, Platinum Arena stands as the most affordable among other projects surrounding it. However, Platinum Arena’s price PSF is only RM6 cheaper than CitiZen 2’s price PSF. Buyers might want to consider their financial budget against the land tenure; for the more financially independent buyers, CitiZen 2 might be a more enticing project given its freehold tenure. The other projects, on the other hand, are clearly at least about RM 200 PSF more expensive than Platinum Arena.
