This bus stop is about 250 meters away from the entrance of Emerald Hills and will take passengers through several residential districts before arriving at the MRT Taman Connaught station which is 5.9km or 10 minutes away. Some of these notable residential districts include Taman Len Seng and Taman Orkid Desa. On the MRT route towards Kajang, commuters have the option of disembarking to stations such as Taman Suntex, Sri Raya, Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, Batu 11 Cheras, Bukit Dukung, Sungai Jernih and Stadium Kajang. In the Sungai Buloh direction, commuters can get off at stations like Taman Mutiara, Cochrane, Tun Razak Exchange, Pusat Bandar Damansara, Kota Damansara and Kampung Selamat. Transit to the LRT Ampang Line is available at the MRT Maluri station which is four stops away from MRT Taman Connaught. Further up the same line are stations such as Bukit Bintang, which presents the option to transit onto the KL Monorail Line, and Muzium Negara which is 10 minutes away on foot from KL Sentral. The closest public school to Emerald Hills is SK Alam Damai which sits about 400 meters east of the project site. Other schools that are not more than 600 meters away from Emerald Hills include Madrasah Mudzafar Shah, Sekolah Rendah Agama Al Mubarakah, Sekolah Islam Integrasi Tahfiz As Syakirin and Sekolah Rendah Agama Al-Mukhlisin. About 1.2km east of the development is SMK Bandar Tun Hussein Onn 2 along Jalan Suadamai, while Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (C) Taman Connaught 2 is about the same distance south, along Persiaran Damai Perdana. For higher learning institutions, residents of Emerald Hills can choose to enrol their children at UCSI University which is located along the SALAK Highway up north of the development. It is about 4.5km from Emerald Hills and requires residents to traverse in the northern direction of Persiaran Alam Damai. The two closest hospitals to the development are Pantai Hospital Cheras which is about 10km north in Taman Midah, while Columbia Asia Hospital Cheras is situated around the same distance southeast in Cheras Perdana.

The South Tower spans across a total built-up of 840-1,195 sq ft, while the garden terrace units are at 2,484-3,281 sq ft.
